Conor Doherty

Conor was interested in music from an early age but only began playing guitar at the age of 13. His influences at this time were of early nineties rock and heavy metal music such as Nirvana/Smashing Pumpkins/Metallica. Conor’s musical appetite broadened and he pursued a Bachelor of Music from NUI Maynooth in 2004, where he developed an avid interest in Jazz/Soul and World Music. Conor plays a variety of percussion instruments and brings a definite rhythmic-style approach to his guitar playing in the Mob.
