Mob Fandango are 10 musicians who met in the hallowed halls of N.U.I Maynooth’s prestigious Music Department.  Having won the Rising Stars competition in 2009, the Mob went on to headline the Dublin City Soul Festival in May 2010.

With no less than six seperate songwriters, the Mob excel in a variety of genres, including Soul, Funk, Reggae and Jazz. In these times of economic doom & gloom, the Mob are here to emphasize the more important things in life.

Featuring Trumpet, Sax, Trombone, Flute and four Vocalists, this band specializes in upbeat, accessible, dance-friendly music.

Both aurally and visually entertaining, Mob Fandango are a joyous celebration of all the good things about live music, and are a breath of fresh air to the Irish music scene. Their 2011 EP will be hitting a shelf near you in March. Watch this space
